Graduate program in information sciences and technologies
Univerista' degli Studi di Trento - Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna

Home

University of Trento and Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna offer an international joint programme in Information and Communication Technologies, which represents a high quality path to higher education in Telecommunications Engineering, with strong emphasis on networking. Courses are given by top-level international professors. Students completing the program will obtain the M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering from University of Trento and the Master of Engineering in Network Engineering from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.

The purpose of the program is to prepare motivated and skilled students to work in the field of research and innovation, able to obtain positions in R&D divisions in companies or research centers, to fruitfully continue education within a Ph.D. program (both schools have a high-level international doctorate school), and to produce scientific innovation at an international dimension.

Participation to the programme requires motivated students to maintain a high level education profile, both in terms of exam marks and time to complete the study plan. Under such constraints, students are enabled to actively experience the college life in both institutions, being required to attend one year at University of Trento and the other at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa. Moreover, they are integrated in the research activities at both institutions. Final thesis will be developed under joint supervision of one advisor from each institution.

The courses will start from the academic year 2011-2012, with the first call for applications expected to open by the end of 2010.
